It was my mother’s dream for me to be a medical doctor and a year ago, I joined Kuda Academy to pursue a different passion: empowering learners through eLearning development. While my mom dreamt of me in scrubs, I found my purpose in building engaging learning experiences.

This past year has been a whirlwind of learning, growth, and exciting challenges, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to hone my skills with an amazing team.

While my initial ambition may have been to fulfil the medical needs of individuals directly as a doctor, my path led me towards contributing to the learning needs of individual learners through E-development. This shift can be understood through the similarities between our work:

So, in Cassper Nyovest’s voice — “Mama I made it”.

It’s been one rung up the ladder at Kuda this past year and one of the major rung on the ladder for the past year was the Academy team getting nominated for The LPI (Learning and Performance Institute) Learning Culture of the Year Award 2024.

I’m grateful to my amazing manager Adetunji Tejuosho, and our GCPO Rosemary Hewat — Chartered FCIPD, ACIPP, CMgr — MCMI for allowing me to work up the rungs of the ladder.
